| Abalon Figueroa Chilean-born Canadian arranger Absalon Figueroa brings a wonderful array of skills and creativity to his choral and instrumental arranging, well-developed talents which are immediately enjoyed by performers and listeners alike.
An accomplished pianist and clarinetist, Absalon began working as an accompanist and arranger at fourteen years of age. Recognized subsequently as an artist of extraordinary ability, a ballet scholarship took him to work with the Orlando Ballet Company and School in Florida. His work as a ballet accompanist and rehearsal pianist continued at Ballet British Columbia when he returned to Canada.
Absalon's choral pursuits included work with the Orlando Chorale and Orlando Chamber Singers which ultimately led to positions accompanying and directing the Orlando Gay Chorus. Since 2009, he has maintained a regular position as arranger for the Vancouver Men's Chorus. NEXT CREATOR | BACK |
